Descendants of Francis William Berry

Notes

1. Francis William Berry

Francis was sentenced to 14 Years for "Feloniously having forged bank notes in his posession, knowing them to be forged" on Friday 19th February 1819 at the Old Bailey, London.

He was issued with his Ticket of Leave, No.86/222 on 1 april 1826. It appears that with his new found freedom he procededd to mutilate the ticket, possibly because he was intoxicated at the time.
He was issued a second certificate , no. 28/388, on 28 Sep 1828. This was subsequently cancelled on 24 Sep 1828 as Francis was "being drunk in the street and keeping a disordly house".
